Let me start off by saying that my outfit cost me $15 total. Being a wedding guest doesn't mean you need to go buy a fancy dress or spend money on something you'll never wear again. I stand by the idea that you buy something that has multiple uses, can be dressed up or down, and can fit into most situations depending how you accessorize it. I'll breakdown my outfit now. My skirt was $5 from the sale rack at my local Forever 21, my shirt is also from Forever 21 from Plato's Closet, my shoes were buy one pair get the second pair for $5 from Shiekh, and my necklace, sunglasses and bracelet were all Christmas gifts.
This wedding was an all outdoor wedding, so I knew I needed to wear shoes that would be fairly easy to walk in. I opted for these thick heeled ones and they were comfortable until the end of the night! I brought my camera of course, and a small purse from JJ Winters to carry my phone, chapstick, and ID in. Bringing anything too bulky didn't make sense, and I'm not so great with clutches (I put them down and forget about them haha), so a small purse made the most sense. It was fun to be a wedding guest for once (and probably for one of the last times haha, which I don't mind because I love my job), eat gluten free donuts, dance on the dance floor, play flip cup, and get to mingle with our friends. Plus a weekend away in SLO wasn't so bad ;)
