Thrifted Yellow Dress (& Cactus, Duh!)

March 21, 2017

One of the main reasons I love thrifted clothes is because it makes your style more unique. Take this outfit for example, I'm wearing Forever 21 boots and a Forever 21 sweater, and if this dress was from there too, my whole outfit would be from one store which wouldn't be very interesting. Instead, I mixed this bright thrifted dress from Closet Creep with my "new" Forever 21 items to make my outfit more unique and more me. Going thrift store shopping doesn't mean that your whole wardrobe will look used or straight out of the 90's, it instead is a time to find unique pieces that blend seamlessly with the rest of your closet. I can't even remember the number of times that people have asked me where a certain floral print dress was from, and the answer is always a thrift store. Floral print dresses are my #1 item I search for when thrifting, because floral print is never out of style and always cute! So next time you're at a thrift store, or thinking of going for the first time, I suggest heading to the dress section first!
