I'll never forget the time that I was wearing a sequined shirt (probably with jeans or something) on a Tuesday, and we went for coffee in downtown San Luis Obispo. The girl looked at me and said something similar to, "sequins on a Tuesday, you're so fancy." I was caught off guard because for me, sequins aren't just meant for special occasions. I love mixing it into my everyday outfits; I mean I have sequin pants, shorts, shirts, jackets, and dresses, so I find myself wearing sequins on the regular. Half of my sequined items are from thrift stores, and the other half are "new" items. These pants were gifted to me for Christmas a few years ago from my friend Julia, who knows me so well :) She purchased them in downtown Pleasanton at Prim, but you can find them online too. For this outfit, I'm wearing a Free People shirt that I got from Plato's Closet and fringe Steve Madden booties, also from Plato's Closet. Adding a casual shirt and boots makes my sequined pants not so fancy, and a perfectly wearable outfit to go anywhere, even to coffee on a Tuesday :)
