It's wedding season, so I'm sure you're all busy attending showers, bachelorette parties and weddings over the next few months. It can be a struggle figuring out what to wear. What I always do first, is ask what the guest of honor is wearing (besides her wedding dress on her wedding day obviously haha) and then figure out the location of the event. This bridal shower was in the backyard in the hills of the Central Coast, and based on the weather report, it was going to be warm. My friend Jess, the bride to be, was planning to wear a maxi skirt and white crop top (an outfit I helped her put together). This to me meant casual, so I opted for my fav maxi romper that hasn't been worn too many times before.

Read MoreThrifted Floral Dress
One of my favorite thrifted finds is a floral dress. At this point, I have a section in my closet dedicated to thrifted dresses, and they are mostly floral print. I love wearing them in the summer with sandals, with leggings and boots in the winter, or even to photograph weddings in. I have long ones and short ones, meaning I have options for different occasions.

Read MoreBralette & Flowy Tank with Ripped Jeans
I went to Plato's Closet recently and purchased these green Free People jeans, as well as this tank top from Able. I love the army green color of the pants, and I don't own anything like them. After pulling them off the rack I realized they still had the tags on them from Free People, orig. $80, and I got them for $18. Total score! I then found this waffle knit tank top that I loved because it's low enough to layer a cute bralette with and super comfy because it's so flowy.

Summer is finally almost here and I don't know about you, but that always means its time for a new bathing suit (or two or three!) and a new towel. Adam was gifted a Pendleton towel a while back, and I sort of took and claimed it as my own. But he can officially have it back now, because I have one of these Beach Bum Towel Co. towels!
Read MoreVintage Fringe Denim Shorts
This past weekend I was down in Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area for my friends bridal shower. We turned it into a girls weekend, hanging by the pool, eating tacos (and a lot of chips and salsa) from Fish Gaucho, and wine tasting at Biddle Ranch. She's also getting married at Biddle in October, so it was awesome getting to hang at her venue before the big day. If I lived in SLO, I'd totally become a wine member here and hang out in their seating area all the time. Check this place out if you haven't yet :)
Read MoreFestival Look: Crop Top and High Waisted Shorts
Summer is coming and I couldn't be happier! Time to dig out your crop tops and high waisted shorts! I love that bralettes can be interchanged with crop tops sometimes, depending on the style of it. It then makes it really easy, because you don't have to wear a bra underneath :) Extremely high waisted shorts are also hard to pair with shirts, because they usually aren't short enough to hit above the waist. This is where a good crop top bralette can come in handy.
Read More11 Ways To Save Money And Still Get What You Want At Your Wedding
A lot of people can be overwhelmed by the planning process, not feeling sure where to spend extra money and where to cut money in their budget. Society has put weddings in a box, saying you must do this, this, and this for it to be considered a wedding. All of these "things" can make your wedding costs add up rather quickly, and you might not have stopped to think, "do I actually want this, is it really us?"
Read MoreA Sequin Jacket with Casual Summer Attire
This is like a double post, because this sequin jacket is the perfect example of how to wear a thrift store find with your new clothes AND how to wear sequins in your everyday style. I'm not a fan of certain styles or clothes being put in a "box", meaning you can only wear them for specific occasions. The best way to get the most out of your wardrobe is to buy items that can be worn multiple ways, or learn how to style something in another way.
