One of my favorite thrifted finds is a floral dress. At this point, I have a section in my closet dedicated to thrifted dresses, and they are mostly floral print. I love wearing them in the summer with sandals, with leggings and boots in the winter, or even to photograph weddings in. I have long ones and short ones, meaning I have options for different occasions.

This past weekend I was down in Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area for my friends bridal shower. We turned it into a girls weekend, hanging by the pool, eating tacos (and a lot of chips and salsa) from Fish Gaucho, and wine tasting at Biddle Ranch. She's also getting married at Biddle in October, so it was awesome getting to hang at her venue before the big day. If I lived in SLO, I'd totally become a wine member here and hang out in their seating area all the time. Check this place out if you haven't yet :)

Summer is coming and I couldn't be happier! Time to dig out your crop tops and high waisted shorts! I love that bralettes can be interchanged with crop tops sometimes, depending on the style of it. It then makes it really easy, because you don't have to wear a bra underneath :) Extremely high waisted shorts are also hard to pair with shirts, because they usually aren't short enough to hit above the waist. This is where a good crop top bralette can come in handy.

This is like a double post, because this sequin jacket is the perfect example of how to wear a thrift store find with your new clothes AND how to wear sequins in your everyday style. I'm not a fan of certain styles or clothes being put in a "box", meaning you can only wear them for specific occasions. The best way to get the most out of your wardrobe is to buy items that can be worn multiple ways, or learn how to style something in another way.
