It's wedding season, so I'm sure you're all busy attending showers, bachelorette parties and weddings over the next few months. It can be a struggle figuring out what to wear. What I always do first, is ask what the guest of honor is wearing (besides her wedding dress on her wedding day obviously haha) and then figure out the location of the event. This bridal shower was in the backyard in the hills of the Central Coast, and based on the weather report, it was going to be warm. My friend Jess, the bride to be, was planning to wear a maxi skirt and white crop top (an outfit I helped her put together). This to me meant casual, so I opted for my fav maxi romper that hasn't been worn too many times before.
I snagged these tie up Steve Madden heeled sandals from DSW the other day that cost me $40 thanks to their discounted prices, a coupon and a gift card. I plan to wear these in Jess's wedding in October, since she wants us all in tan heels. Getting a lot of use out of a shoe is great, so you'll always fine me picking shoes that can be worn over and over again!
Check out what I wore to a winter bridal shower and my wedding guest attire post too!

Tips for this look:
1. Always check DSW if you're looking for shoes. I've scored so many Steve Madden shoes at much cheaper prices there.
2. A maxi romper compared to regular shorts rompers, is bit more dressy. It's great for an outdoor party for an occasion like a bridal shower.
