From time to time on here, I'll share with you my recent beauty product favs! I'm trying my best to use non-toxic products and switch out all of my old stuff! If you have any non-toxic beauty products that you love, I'd love to know about them! :)

Last weekend we were down in San Luis Obispo and when we drove by this turquoise building, I knew we had to stop for photos. Being a photographer, quirky buildings, fun colored walls, and open landscapes always call my name!

1) I've recently decided to try and switch over my household and makeup products to non-toxic ones
2) I'm more tidy then I am clean
3) My first car was a 2001 VW Jetta. Typical 16 year old girl car! haha. Anyone else know that VW crayon interior smell?!

I have an obsession for graphic tshirts because they are so comfy and easy to just throw on. Instead of a plain tshirt, consider a graphic one next time you're shopping. Having something on your shirt already, means you can opt to accessorize less. This bull shirt from Phoenix & Kate is a fun example of what I'm talking about. The only time I wear a plain tshirt is if it's low cut so I can wear a bralette, or if my bottoms are super colorful.
Read MoreFour Things To Splurge On At Your Wedding & Why!
Wedding planning can be overwhelming for those who have never been involved with weddings before. It's hard to know what is worth spending extra money on, and where to cut costs. From being a bride myself in 2014, and a wedding photographer for 8 years, and I feel like I have a good grasp on what really is important for your big day. Of course every vendor thinks they are the most important or that you shouldn't cut your costs on them, which I totally get! I just remember the days of my mom telling me to "hide my bra straps", so I love that bralettes are so cute that they can and should be shown off! Gone are the days of ugly bras and bra straps peeking out from under your clothes. Plus bralettes are usually cheaper then regular bras and don't wear out as quickly.

Yesterday we were out in the Carrizo Plains, a little north east of San Luis Obispo. The "super bloom" is happening there right now, so we wanted to check it out before California turns brown again haha. I of course used this opportunity to photograph some new outfits for my blog, including this festival inspired look.

I get asked A LOT about where my glasses and my tortoise shell sunglasses are from. (I'm assuming because they are cuter then a lot of other glasses people are used to seeing haha) I'm always happy to tell people about Warby Parker because they have amazing customer service and great prices on their glasses. I've been using Warby Parker for my prescription glasses and sunglasses for a few years now, and I don't even bother looking at my eye doctor anymore.

Iam obsessed with anything marble (I mean who isn't these days), so I knew that's what I wanted for our coffee table. Sadly marble coffee tables are hundreds of dollars and I wasn't about to spend that kind of money. So I searched on Craigslist for a marble table that we could tear apart. I luckily found this one in Alameda!
