From time to time on here, I'll share with you my recent beauty product favs! I'm trying my best to use non-toxic products and switch out all of my old stuff! If you have any non-toxic beauty products that you love, I'd love to know about them! :)
Glacial Facial Purifying Mineral Mud Masque:
I've always been a fan of face masks, but since I'm trying to use as many non-toxic beauty products now, I had to say goodbye to my GlamGlow Mud Mask. I love the thicker masks made of "mud" so I was very excited to try this one from the Alaska Glacial Mud Co. It also comes with a little brush for application, which is great so you don't have to use your fingers. It has a nice peppermint and lavender smell, and in 15 minutes you're ready to wash it off. It dries on your skin but comes off easily with just warm water. My face totally fees softer and refreshed after. I've only used it a few times so far, so I'm excited to keep trying it out!
Face Wash:
Trying to find non-toxic, natural beauty products has been a bit of a challenge, but I'm getting there! I love this cleansing oil from Birchrose + Co that I use at night to take my makeup off. It hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling soft. I also like that it doesn't feel super harsh on my face when wiping my makeup off.
These Shea Moisture African Black Soap Wipes are what I use when I'm on a trip and don't want to pack my oil cleanser. The smell is pretty mild, which is great! I've had issues with wipes in the past leaving my face feeling greasy, but not with these. I highly suggest this brand in general for any of their products!
Bare Republic Hair Care:
I recently tried out Bare Republic's new UV haircare line. The conditioner makes my hair super easy to comb out and leaves it feeling soft. I'm also a big fan of dry shampoo, and I love that this one is small and can be thrown in my bag easily when I'm on the go! The products have an citrus sent to me; does anyone else have a different description for the scent? haha. So far I've had no issue using these products, and I'm hoping to try their sunscreen next!
