I am obsessed with anything marble (I mean who isn't these days), so I knew that's what I wanted for our coffee table. Sadly marble coffee tables are hundreds of dollars and I wasn't about to spend that kind of money. So I searched on Craigslist for a marble table that we could tear apart. I luckily found this one (see left image below) in Alameda and we got it for $90! Adam welded new legs for the table and we spray painted it a grey/blue color. There is a layer of cork between the legs and table to give it traction so the marble doesn't shift. It's such a big transformation and it makes a huge difference in our living room!
As you can see below we also have a new rug since we first got this coffee table haha. A "neutral" rug wasn't quite us!
