Summer is coming and I couldn't be happier! Time to dig out your crop tops and high waisted shorts! I love that bralettes can be interchanged with crop tops sometimes, depending on the style of it. It then makes it really easy, because you don't have to wear a bra underneath :) Extremely high waisted shorts are also hard to pair with shirts, because its hard to find shirts short enough to hit above the waist. This is where a good crop top bralette can come in handy.
These leopard print shorts are a thrift store find, and I had them hemmed to be a little shorter. With just a quick hem on each leg, these shorts were a perfect fit. Luckily my mom is good at sewing and was able to fix these for be pretty quickly. They are super comfy and even have pockets. This was for sure a really good thrifting score :) I linked to some similar shorts below, in case you aren't into thrifting or just want leopard print shorts asap.
For accessories, I wanted to keep it funky and fun. I love gladiator sandals because they make a statement just like a tall boot would. I found these at UrbanOG two summers ago, and they usually have a good sale going on. I'm also wearing a Free People collar necklace and my Quay Australia sunglasses. I love the pops of gold that those accessories provide.

Tips for this look:
1. If you find something at a thrift store that you like but it doesn't fit perfectly, having it altered (or altering it yourself), is always a good option
2. Wear your bralette as a crop top with high waisted shorts that come well above your belly button
3. Think of gladiator sandals as the boot of the summer months
