My friend recently bought flare pants, and her husband referred to them as "Danielle pants", so I guess flares have become my thing! haha. I love how soft and comfy they are, and how they are a good replacement for yoga pants or sweatpants. They can easily be paired with a fun flowy top, or just a long tshirt, like this cactus one from Vintage Chameleon. Since the weather has been so up and down, I added my fringe Forever 21 Sweater for when it's cold out. I also have to wear a chunky healed boot with flare pants, because I'm 5'5 and they seem to be made for people much taller then me. I have another pair of flare pants with a raw edge, so I trimmed those to be able to wear them with flatter shoes.

Fringe Sneakers & Mixed Prints
I've recently been really into cute sneakers! Finding comfortable shoes to wear is important, but I'm of course not willing to sacrifice style! I'd been wanting fringe sneakers for a while, so I found these grey ones from Guilty Soles. FYI, if you get them, size up! I normally wear a 9 in sneakers, but had to get a 10. I love wearing sneakers when I ride my bike, walking Sawyer on paved trails, and even just to make my outfit a bit funkier. I love the boho, grunge look, and I think it totally adds to that.

Two of my favorite things: Overalls & Bougainvillea
I don't know why, but I always love wearing my overalls (Voguish Threads) with a crop top or an off the shoulder shirt. I love the way it looks and how it shows a little skin. I think it also makes overalls look less childish when paired with these types of shirts. Spring Bridal Shower Attire
It's wedding season, so I'm sure you're all busy attending showers, bachelorette parties and weddings over the next few months. It can be a struggle figuring out what to wear. What I always do first, is ask what the guest of honor is wearing (besides her wedding dress on her wedding day obviously haha) and then figure out the location of the event. This bridal shower was in the backyard in the hills of the Central Coast, and based on the weather report, it was going to be warm. Vintage Fringe Denim Shorts
This past weekend I was down in Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area for my friends bridal shower. We turned it into a girls weekend, hanging by the pool, eating tacos (and a lot of chips and salsa) from Fish Gaucho, and wine tasting at Biddle Ranch. She's also getting married at Biddle in October, so it was awesome getting to hang at her venue before the big day. Festival Look: Crop Top and High Waisted Shorts
Summer is coming and I couldn't be happier! Time to dig out your crop tops and high waisted shorts! I love that bralettes can be interchanged with crop tops sometimes, depending on the style of it. It then makes it really easy, because you don't have to wear a bra underneath :) Extremely high waisted shorts are also hard to pair with shirts, because they usually aren't short enough to hit above the waist.
