I LOVE first looks. The moment when the couple sees each other for the first time is the best. You can see the stress melt away, and you can see the excitement on their faces. But doing a first look is more then just that moment, it's really about how you want to spend your day. It means more time together, getting photos done early while your hair and makeup are fresh, having time to mingle with your guests at cocktail hour, and so much more!

Read MoreAmazon Prime Day
In honor of Amazon Prime Day, I'm sharing a few of my favorite items that I've bought (and continue to buy) on Amazon!! We pretty much buy most random things that we need on there, because we get free 2-day shipping. I've shared a lot of these items in an Instagram post, on my Instagram story, or in a blog post, so here is a recap :) I'll be doing another round of my fav Amazon items soon!
Read MoreFloral Print Denim Jacket
Every few weeks my mom and I hit up a thrift store (or two). I usually leave with a few items, and some trips I leave with something that makes me really excited, like this floral print denim jacket! It's always a toss up whether you'll find something cute at a thrift store AND if it will fit, so I was very happy about this jacket.

Bridesmaids style is one of my favorite things at weddings. I love seeing what unique ideas brides come up with, now that weddings aren't so "David's Bridal" bridesmaids dresses anymore. Want to know how long I've had these sequin shorts?! I thiiiink about 4 years! I bought them in SLO at a little boutique, as something to wear on a Vegas trip. But they quickly turned into shorts I can wear with anything. So it always seems like the hair we have is the hair we don't want. But I've learned that embracing the hair type you have will not only save your hair, but it's also unique to you. So many people I know straighten their hair instead of embracing the waves, or curl their instead of embracing the kinky, frizzy waves. I used to wear my hair natural until a few years when I got a Keratin treatment (twice), and for a long time after, my hair was never the same. FINALLY, just a few months ago, my natural waves were back!

I think a lot of people struggle with what to wear under a backless shirt (this one if from Gypsy Creek Boutique). Pretty much if I'm having a shirt dilemma, a bralette fixes my problem! Since this shirt is plain in the front, I needed a bralette that was also plain, so there wouldn't be any weird lines. This Gina Tricot sequin backed bralette was the perfect choice! I haven't worn it yet, so I was really excited to find the perfect outfit for it.
Read MoreA Whole Lot of Deals (and fruit on my shirt)
This outfit is full of a whole lot of DEALS, so this post is sort of a piggyback off yesterdays post!
Let's start with my shirt. If you follow me on Instagram then you saw that I went thrift store shopping recently at Savers and bought this hot pink, fruit print shirt. My mom first pulled it off the rack, thinking it was funny (& maybe ugly), and to her surprise I actually loved it! She of course laughed at me, but after trying it on, she agreed that it was cute. It was super wrinkly at the store, but I knew when it was washed and paired with the right outfit, it would probably become one of my favorite shirts.
