Bridesmaids style is one of my favorite things at weddings. I love seeing what unique ideas brides come up with, now that weddings aren't so "David's Bridal" bridesmaids dresses anymore. If getting your wedding featured on a big name blog is important to you, I suggest getting creative with this. Plus, what girl doesn't want to wear a super cute, stylish dress in their friends wedding?
1. Have each bridesmaids pick their own dress based a color scheme.
This gives it a funkier look with different dress materials, but with them all being in the same color scheme it still feels cohesive if you don't want to get too crazy.
2. Assign each girl a dress that is different from every other bridesmaid but in a similar color palette.
If you're wanting a cohesive look but don't want everyone perfectly matching, pick each girls dress within a similar color palette. Tell each girl which dress they have to get to make this look come together.
3. Pick a bold color.
I think this is a fun option if you want to be bold, but floral print isn't your thing. I think bold colored dresses look best in "non bridesmaids" type dresses. These red ones below are Flynn Skye. It's a nice casual look!
4. Pick 2-3 dresses, and alternate the dresses between the girls.
This is a great option if you have a lot of bridesmaids because it breaks it up so everyone doesn't become a giant blob all wearing one color. This bride did 3 red, 3 purple floral, and 3 pink floral, all from Show Me Your Mumu.
5. If you're going for the boho wedding look, have each of your girls pick any "fun" dress!
At my own wedding I did the same thing as this bride below, so it's obviously my favorite look! I love the idea of every girl in a totally different "boho" dress. It really creates a unique look, the girls get a dress they will wear again, and blogs love seeing brides do something unique like this. If you're not into being super matchy matchy like me, then this look is perfect for your girls!
6. Go with an all over floral print look for each girl.
I'm kind of obsessed with this newer trends of floral print dresses for each bridesmaid. It pairs well with bold, colorful flowers too. It's a look that can be done for a casual wedding or a fancier wedding like this one in San Francisco. These dresses are from Reformation and they have a lot of fun styles.
7. Pick a pattern and have each girl pick a different style.
I love Show Me Your Mumu. They have so many good dresses that can work for your bridesmaids, including these tropical print dresses. If you love one pattern but don't want everyone looking identical, a good option is to have them each pick a different style in the same dress.
