Last night the Plain White T's were playing at the Alameda County Fair. The song "Hey There Delilah" is our song, and it's what I walked down the aisle to at our wedding. So when I heard they were coming, I knew we HAD to go. I'm pretty sure the whole crowd was there just to hear that song haha, as people were chanting it all night long. It was finally played at the very end and it was the song everyone stood up and sang along to.

Looking for the perfect summer maxi dress? Well look no further :) I love that this dress from Gypsy Creek Boutique is not only off the shoulder, but also super light weight, so it won't make you hot on the warm summer days. You could easily dress it up for a wedding with heels, or dress it down like I did with my Not Rated sandals, choker, and Quay Australia sunglasses.

California summers are hot, especially here in Livermore. This pretty much means you'll find me in shorts and eating ice cream all summer long! I live for summer, and shiver in 70 degree weather. I'm just made to be sun bathing and poolside haha. If you live in the area, then you for sure know the Meadowlark Dairy. It's a quaint drive through/walkup ice cream place in downtown Pleasanton. Growing up in Pleasanton, we went there often, and it was always our treat of choice at Friday night Music in the Park.

From Morgan of Spreading Lovely:
With so many vendors available, it can be daunting to try to select the team for your wedding if you know little about the wedding industry. When looking for a planner, it is important to check out their work on their website, instagram, and make sure the types of weddings they seem to focus or specialize on look like the type of wedding you want to have! Does their design aesthetic feel authentic and resonate with you? What are past clients saying about working with them? Sticker shock can be a very real thing that I help many clients through, and sticker shock on a planner can be another big one. If you're looking for Month of Coordination, you can expect to invest between $2,500 - 4,000, for Partial Planning & Design, expect $5,000 - 8,000 and for Full Planning & Design between $8,000 - 15,000, depending on the planner.

Our longtime friend Johnny had his intimate wedding in Santa Cruz two weeks ago. It wasn't a super warm day, so I opted for a pants romper with a Forever 21 leather jacket. This romper hits me weird on top, so it has to be worn with a cute bralette, or in this case, a fitted crop top. I added a layered Forever 21 necklace, my Shiekh heels, Quay Australia sunglasses, and my handmade leather purse from my brother in law.

Once I month a few of my wedding vendor friends and I get together for lunch. This month we decided to have a pool party which meant FLOATIES! It's always nice to have some human interaction during the day, since we all work from home by ourselves. Summer is my favorite time, and not having a pool myself, I use any excuse to swim in someone else's pool.

I love cute workout clothes that I can wear to walk Sawyer around the neighborhood in or hike in. These SKYE footwear sneakers are perfect for that, because they are comfortable and supportive like regular sneakers, but have a super cute desert boot look.

I'm pretty sure I could live in fringe, floral print, and sequins. You can find me in fringe at least a few days a week, so I of course had to add this vest from Tobi to my closet! What I love about vests and kimonos, is they are so easy to throw on over an outfit to make it even cuter. Even if I was just wearing a shirt and jeans, this vest would be the perfect final edition to complete the look. Stocking up on good accessory pieces is key to making any outfit cute even when you don't feel like trying too hard that day.

Mid May I went to Las Vegas for my friend Jess's bachelorette party. The main things on our to do list were to see Britney Spears and hang out at a day pool party. Picking out outfits for events like this can be tough, and I feel like Vegas has a stereotypical "vegas" outfit that everyone thinks of. I on the other hand, like to think that any cute outfit is acceptable for vegas, and it DOES NOT have to be skin tight and stiletto heels don't need to be involved. As you know, I love versatile clothes, so I incorporated this idea into my attire for the weekend.
