California summers are hot, especially here in Livermore. This pretty much means you'll find me in shorts and eating ice cream all summer long! I live for summer, and shiver in 70 degree weather. I'm just made to be sun bathing and poolside haha. If you live in the area, then you for sure know the Meadowlark Dairy. It's a quaint drive through/walkup ice cream place in downtown Pleasanton. Growing up in Pleasanton, we went there often, and it was always our treat of choice at Friday night Music in the Park.
After a wedding industry meetup the other day, some of my close friends and I went to The Dairy! We 100% looked like children, because our ice cream was so melty from trying to take cute ice cream photos. Afterwards, we walked around, found a few more photo spots, and then sat on a bench and chatted. I kind of love suburban life, it's quaint, quite(r), and you can park so close to your destination! haha.
Ok, now for my outfit! I love my Tobi overalls, but I always feel the need to wear crop tops with it. This cactus print shirt from Stella B is actually a longer shirt, so I knotted it and tucked the knot inside my shirt to give the illusion of a crop top. For my accessories, I'm wearing an Urban Outfitters choker that I got on sale, sunglasses from Poshmark, and my white Converse.
