California summers are hot, especially here in Livermore. This pretty much means you'll find me in shorts and eating ice cream all summer long! I live for summer, and shiver in 70 degree weather. I'm just made to be sun bathing and poolside haha. If you live in the area, then you for sure know the Meadowlark Dairy. It's a quaint drive through/walkup ice cream place in downtown Pleasanton. Growing up in Pleasanton, we went there often, and it was always our treat of choice at Friday night Music in the Park. 

Our longtime friend Johnny had his intimate wedding in Santa Cruz two weeks ago. It wasn't a super warm day, so I opted for a pants romper with a Forever 21 leather jacket. This romper hits me weird on top, so it has to be worn with a cute bralette, or in this case, a fitted crop top. I added a layered Forever 21 necklace, my Shiekh heels, Quay Australia sunglasses, and my handmade leather purse from my brother in law.

Once I month a few of my wedding vendor friends and I get together for lunch. This month we decided to have a pool party which meant FLOATIES! It's always nice to have some human interaction during the day, since we all work from home by ourselves. Summer is my favorite time, and not having a pool myself, I use any excuse to swim in someone else's pool.

I love cute workout clothes that I can wear to walk Sawyer around the neighborhood in or hike in. These SKYE footwear sneakers are perfect for that, because they are comfortable and supportive like regular sneakers, but have a super cute desert boot look. 

Mid May I went to Las Vegas for my friend Jess's bachelorette party. The main things on our to do list were to see Britney Spears and hang out at a day pool party. Picking out outfits for events like this can be tough, and I feel like Vegas has a stereotypical "vegas" outfit that everyone thinks of. I on the other hand, like to think that any cute outfit is acceptable for vegas, and it DOES NOT have to be skin tight and stiletto heels don't need to be involved. As you know, I love versatile clothes, so I incorporated this idea into my attire for the weekend. 

Happy Friday!! This was literally one of the longest weeks ever for me, and I'm ready to be relaxing. What I love most about our house is our yard that we completely redid. It's like a private retreat for when we just want to stay home and hang in the sun. I love just walking out my backdoor and having a couch, chair swing, and fake grass to sit on. 

So if you've been following me for a while, then you know that I've been doing fun colors in my hair for almost 2 years! I started off with dark turquoise peekaboo's and then tried out different placements with different shades of purple, hot pink, light blue, pastel rainbow, and a mix of purple and blue. I feel so bored without color now, so I like to keep changing it up!
