It’s been so fun to see Fischer really change and grow into a big boy these last few months. He learned to crawl while we were in Kauai in November and two teeth came in! He’s crawling everywhere now (baby gates are in our future), pulling himself up to stand, and just more interactive. He’s also eating a lot more food then he was just a month ago and super interested in it. Here are some things that we’ve found useful or fun at this stage:
Click HERE to buy all the items below that I mentioned:
Bubble machine. Great for rainy days! (PS. I was given the suggestion to use bubblebath soap in his bubble machine so that when the bubbles pop, it won’t hurt his eyes)
GOOtensils. I didn’t think we needed these but turns out he hates purees and wants real food and to feed himself.
Hape Pound & Tap Bench with slide out xylophone. This is his FAV! He loves knocking the balls in and doing it over and over again.
Melissa & Doug Pull Back Vehicles. They are great because they are interactive!
Infantino Balls, Blocks, & Buddies. We spend a chunk of time each day stacking and knocking down these blocks. I stack, he knocks them down.
Sunny Days Adventure Play Tunnel. Since he’s crawling now, we decided to get him something that he’d find interesting while crawling around. Turns out he loves it!
Sandra Boynton books. His absolute favorite is Let’s Dance Little Pookie.
Fat Brain Dimpl. A lot of moms suggested this to me and it’s just a great toy to take out and about with you.
Best Learning, Learning Cube. It makes noises and you can roll it around.
Wubbanub. He’s currently obsessed with his wubbanub after months of not wanting it
OXO Tot Transitions Straw Cup. He’s drinking water now since he’s eating food, and Feeding Littles recommends using a straw cup instead of a sippy cup. He’s actually been really good at drinking out of any straw for about two months now!
