We Bought a New House!!

If you've been following along, then you know that we moved back to the Central Coast about a month ago and sold our house in Livermore shortly after.

Let's go back a bit to how this whole move started. So we lived in SLO 3 years ago (for 6 years), and moved away after Adam's last quarter at Cal Poly. We moved back to our hometown and then bought the #poffpad in Livermore a few months later. We always dreamed of coming back down here. We love the area, the weather, the slower pace of life, and all the activities.

Pretending It's Still Summer Here

So it's now officially winter feeling in California, but I'll just be over here pretending it's still 80 degrees :) I always love the idea of mixing stripes and floral prints, so I did that again here! This jumper has an overalls feeling to them, and I always love a good crop top with overalls. So I paired this Forever 21 top with my jumper, which allowed a little bit of skin to show, so the outfit wouldn't feel super boxy.

Striped Jumpsuit for Spring

Central Coast living means we don't really have a winter. Which believe me, I'm 100% ok with!! It was an 80 degree day, which was perfect for wearing this jumpsuit. I purchased this belt a while back from Savers, but because it's so oversized, I was having issues figuring out what to wear it with. This jumpsuit was the answer!! Because of it's bold pattern and a flowy top, it made my belt blend in a bit. To finish off my look, I'm wearing platform sandals and mirrored sunglasses.

The Oyster Loft in Pismo

Last night I went to The Oyster Loft in Pismo Beach for a girls night out! They no joke have a thing called Oyster Hour, from 4-5pm, which is their happy hour. I'm down for a yummy drink, but even more down for $1.50 oysters!!! If you like seafood, check this place out! Plus their decor is amazing, including dark blue walls and brass accents.

The Poff Pad Is For Sale

I have mixed emotions while writing this post. I'm sad to sell our first home, but super excited to be moving on to something even better! We bought our house 2.5 years ago and made some major changes to the front and back of the house. The interior didn't change much, we just painted all the walls, added some window coverings, a few new exterior doors, and put brass drawer pulls in the kitchen.

Leopard Print & Lace

I love leopard print! I got this sweater in a larger size because I hate tight fitting sweaters. I also figured I'd want to knot it, since I knew it wasn't thick. Because I love mixing patterns, I threw this sweater on over lace bell bottoms. For the rest of my look, I'm wearing a longer grey denim jacket, a statement necklace, and my always favorite Quay Australia sunglasses.

Fringe Love

Give me everything with fringe! :) I love it, and I'm sure you all know that by now. Does this top look familiar? It should, because it used to be a dress! I decided I liked it better as a crop top, so I had it made into one. I love wearing sneakers with a floral print and always adding accessories to my outfits, like a hat and choker.

Seeing Stars

I went shopping after Thanksgiving and got some great deals at The Great Mall! Most stores were having sales, and this shirt was only $9! I also got this cute green skirt (Forever 21 had SO many skirts to pick from) and a layered star choker from Neiman Marcus Last Call. If you're looking for chokers, that's the place to go. They always have unique ones under $20.

I'm Only A Fan Of Pearls On My Jeans

Lets be honest, I'm not a huge pearl fan. You won't find me wearing pearls around my neck, but for some reason when you put them on jeans, I'm IN! I'm so over boring jeans, so I'm all about ripped or embellished ones. It just makes every outfit cuter! Plus adding in thrifted boots and a vintage fringe jackets makes for a unique look!
