OOTD Alexa // Concert Tees Aren't Just For Bedtime

Concert tees aren't just for bedtime! I decided to pair my @onerepublic concert shirt with a printed maxi and headband for a very bohemian feel! If your concert shirt is baggy and oversized try cutting it for a new feel, like off the shoulder or turing it into a tank top! Xoxo, Alexa

Here's how I pulled this look together for less:

Bought new:

Skirt - @stylesforless - $12

Belt - Goodwill - $3

Necklace - @stylesforless - $9

Headband - @threebirdnest - $18

Gifted:

Concert tank -$0

Total: $42

OOTD Danielle // Overalls Alternative

Looking for an alternative to overalls? Try a jean romper :) I've actually had this @forever21 romper in my closet for a few years and still love it. It has a fun floral pattern and can be dressed up with tights or dressed down with boots. Tonight I'm headed to a casual girls wedding industry event at a flower nursery in 80 degree weather so it felt fitting! Xoxo, Danielle

Here's how I pulled this look together for less:

Thrifted from platos closet:
Jean romper- @forever21 $8
Necklace- $3
Sweater- $10

Bought new:
Boots- @stevemadden from @dswshoelovers $40

Total: $61

OOTD Alexa // Infinity Loop Scarf

Today I stayed a bit more simple with my outfit. I took a fun watercolor scarf (that's normally a traditional style) and tied it to become an infinity loop scarf instead. I love to get multiple uses out of items, so this scarf is a two-in-one depending on how you wear it! The blue accents the military green harem pant and the neutral flats and white tank keep the look fresh and clean. Xoxo, Alexa

Here's how I pulled my look together for less:

Purchased new:
Harem pants - @lindexofficial - $16
Tank top - @nordstrom - $6
Flats - @oldnavy - $9
Scarf - Gina Tricot - $8

Total: $39

Danielle // How To Make Your Own Headband

Headbands are a great accessory to make any outfit more fun! I made this headband myself for my bridal shower back in June. I went to @michaelsstores and bought fake flowers, floral wire and brown bendy string. Its cheaper, fun to make, and you'll have a unique headband compared to buying one from a store. I will share more about how I make headbands once our blog is up  have any questions? Ask away! Xoxo, Danielle

Alexa // How We Wore It Two Different Ways

I styled my boot socks in a little more sporty way! I paired my rugby style socks with a baseball tee worn off the shoulder. Wearing it over a lace slip dress gives the look a more feminine feel. Xoxo, Alexa
Total: $78

Danielle // How We Wore It Two Different Ways

Today we are both wearing tall socks two different ways  Adam and I are celebrating our 1 month wedding anniversary tonight at The Cliffs in Pismo Beach! I paired my new tall lace up boots with tall socks, a floral dress and a slouchy sweater over it. Lastly I threw on a long necklace! I love layering clothes! Xoxo, Danielle
Total: $70

Alexa's Bridal Style

For my wedding I also didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress and knew I wanted something I wouldn't be able to find in a bridal store. I bought mine online from @revolveclothing and fell in love! (It was the only dress I tried on!!) My @forloveandlemons dress was only $250 but was eveything I wanted for my big day! It was comfortable with a bohemian feel, had a low back and interesting detail on the front, and was cheap! Like Danielle said, pick a dress that's all YOU and you can't go wrong! Xoxo, Alexa

Danielle's Bridal Style

As you all know Alexa and I are both newlyweds, married to our high school sweethearts. We want to share with you pieces of our wedding and how we pulled our wedding together for less and with some fun, unique flare!

I decided to wear an ivory and blush pink @freepeople dress as my wedding gown instead of a standard white wedding dress from a bridal shop. My dress only cost $400 compared to $1,000+ for a real wedding dress. I loved being able to use the saved money towards other wedding related things AND have a unique bohemian dress  I highly encourage everyone to wear whatever dress feels like you when you get married! Break tradition! Xoxo, Danielle
